Men’s Bible Retreat

In-depth study of the scriptures, cards and games, snacks and conversation with men from around our zone, round out this traditional weekend. John Loum, former Muslim, now Christian, will share insights into the Muslim world and thought process. You won’t want to miss this. We have added some “testosterone” events to our weekend with some trap shooting and possible competitive shooting activities. Bring a shotgun and shells – we’ll provide the clay pigeons! Sweet Creations staff will teach you how to make some of their favorite candy creations and you will be able to take home a holiday variety platter of homemade candy for your holiday entertaining. Everyone is asked to bring their favorite divinity recipe for a “pick and make” team competition. Chocolate Covered Cherries, Babe Ruth’s, Carmel Chews, Peanut Clusters, and Caramels round out our selection. $75 covers cost of lodging, food, and candy supplies.

How about this –Bring your favorite special holiday cookie recipe to share and we’ll make a batch or two of everyone’s cookies to divide up and take home for the holidays. That could be 15-20 different kinds of cookies for your holiday entertainment. We’ll have a wonderful time of sharing and conversation while we accomplish this great task. We’ll even take a moment or two to discuss what Jesus meant when he said, “A little leaven…” $75.00 covers cost of food, lodging, and cookie ingredients.
