Shepherd's Hill at the Crossroads

As you may know, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is launching a new charitable grant program and benefit of membership called Thrivent ChoiceSM. Choice DollarsSM will be designated to some Thrivent Financial members when that portion of the program launches this summer. (Thrivent Financial member eligibility will be based on fraternal benefit society product ownership and Thrivent Financial volunteer leadership, and helping direct Choice Dollars will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Thrivent ChoiceSM program.)

As always, Shepherd’s Hill at the Crossroads is grateful for your consideration when you make charitable giving plans. If you are a Thrivent Financial member who learns you will be eligible to direct Choice DollarsSM (watch your mail for details from Thrivent Financial this summer), we ask you to consider Shepherd’s Hill ath the Crossroads as you help direct Thrivent Financial’s charitable funds.

Some of you may already know that we have been working on a new website design. Well, we now have it mostly finished and up for your viewing.

This is still a work in progress but I am sure that you will enjoy the easier navigation and layout.

What a friend… it is often said sarcastically.  Especially when we have been wounded by an individual we have considered to be a friend.  Or it may be said of a person who treats others badly.  But it can also have a positive spin when we have a really good friend.   Imagine having a friend who is always there, never fails you, knows your deepest secrets and loves you anyway.  That is a rarity in this world – but is a reality with Jesus Christ.  Come join us as we explore friendships this summer with one another and with God.  We plan to incorporate this theme into every part of our camp experience.  If your friends can’t come with you come meet some new friends.   What a Friend…We have in Jesus!

We have been trying to get our lake stocked with fish since we moved – it finally happened.  We have 1100 perch that were planted this fall.  We Pray God will keep them alive through the winter so we can fish next summer.
